IronBond 111

ABRI IronBond 111 is a direct-to-metal (DTM), dual-component, surface applied universal substrate that protects a wide variety of ferrous materials, including hard rust metal surfaces from continued deterioration due to naturally occurring threats. IronBond 111 is a cement-based, cost-effective multifunctional primer that functions as a dual-protective layer that can be used as part of a more comprehensive anti-corrosion coating systems. IronBond 111 dries smooth, creating a strong bridge between rusted metal surfaces and application-specific top coats.

IronBond 111 is a dual-component, variable viscosity, extremely low-volatile organic compounds, surface applied corrosion inhibitor. It consists of an exceptionally fine inorganic powder, and a unique, blended polyurethane dispersion-binding agent. IronBond 111 provides both applicators and asset owners with a flexible, easy, and cost-effective infrastructure maintenance tool. Iron Bond 111 is environmentally friendly due to its use of recycled industrial material, and is easy to apply and cleanup.

IronBond 111 is made from non-hazardous compounds. It is safe to apply with minimal training, and requires minimal safety equipment (gloves, dust mask and eye protection are recommended). Plus, it can be applied in enclosed spaces.

IronBond 111 cleans up quickly and easily. Just spray water on your equipment (mixers, airless sprayers, brushes and rollers)—and you’re ready for the next job. Once IronBond 111 cures, it stays on for a long time. Protection is assured for up to 5 years.
